Interactive + Fun = IRFAN!!!

Irfan's now more interactive with his surrounding. It's fun to bring him for morning walk, or evening walk in the park. He'll always point to this and that and go "uhhh...ahhh..huuuu..huuu" hahaha. Trying to tell us something lah tu.

Fast Thai Food
|
|
Irfan's dad took leave on Tuesday, a day after raya haji. Since mama wasn't around, he decided to take care of Irfan alone at home. It was his first time..ang (according to him) they reaaaaaaaaallyyyy had fun doing all the man's stuff. ya la tuu..
So that evening we brought Irfan to jalan-jalan at QB, at we had dinner at Siam Express. The food's quite good, it was fast. Mr, Hubby asked me " U know why they served it so fast?" Me : No Him : I"t's because it is a fast thai food!". Cehhh...abeh lawak la tu

Irfan's New Ride

Mama bought Irfan a walker. Not the baby walker but walker that's supposed to help him walking. Well, the first day he loved the thing. But after that, he just wanna sit on it and wants mama to push him back and forth. Haish! Cuba rajin sikit.

Went to The Carnival in Sungai Petani. Had a great time under the sun. Splish splash splish splashhhh!!! I loveeee!  Irfan???Hmmmm...maybe I should give him a couple more months, and he'd enjoy it kot.

Pictures of the 1st raya for our little family, with the little one around. Not much were taken as we were busy enjoying ourselves and the FOOD! of course, sampai lupa tangkap gambaq.
But overall, I think Irfan really enjoyed his first raya with mama and abah.

Balik kampuuuunnngggg....

Balik kampung oh ohoo…
Hati girang
Ho ho… Balik kampung
Hati girang
Okay, okay...Irfan's mama is kemaruk to balik kampung with our own little family when the fact is mak's house is just a stone throw away.
So, last week when we stopped at Pasar Ramadhan on the way for berbuka at mak's place, mama took Irfan's pics in the car. Konon gambaq balik kampung la nih..and since the twins has came back home for the holiday, they were ORDERED to play bunga api to entertain the little pumpkin.
Dia buat muka heran for a while, after that he YAWNED! okie....apala...
Milestone :
1 month - cry! cry! and cry some more!
2 months - laughed out loud but only with certain people - always with his maktok, mama sometimes only lah..
3 ++ months - started to roll over but just once in a while, called out Maaaa Maaaa when everytime he cried, say out loud Abaaaaa a few times, once said something that sounded very much like "Haaaiiii" when looking out the car window
4 ++ months - actively rolling over, hold his own bottle (but not too steadily), babbles and loved to imitate sounds we made, laughed more often now
5 months - tumbuh gigi, put up his hands (asking to be picked up) when he sees mama wears my tudung (knowing it's time to JALAN - JALAN!!)
5 months and 2 weeks - started on solid, totally loves his food!
6 months - he now weighs 7.2 kg (people keep on saying he's skinny, siap ask me to give him vitamins kay!)
slither on his tummy (menyulur)
wants to eat everything that we eat
hold his bottle very steadily now, senang keja mama
lovesss smiling and laughing
in awe with mama everytime he sees me brushing my teeeth, nak try lah tu later mama buy u kodomo lion kay..
sometimes choosy with whoever gets to hold him, but this rarely happens
sit up steadily in chairs, with assistance and support still
Anyway, that night the twins followed us back to spend the night at Sg. Ara. Definitely nak escape from helping out at home...bad uncles! Don't be like them when u grow up kay Irfan

Irfan got attacked by mosquitos last night. Hasilnya...tiny reddish bumps all over his forehead, neck and chest. Poor mama's boy!

Aqil Irfan and Al - Arees
|
|
Irfan has only two cousins. One from mama's side, another is from abah's. Both names are Arees (different spelling - the other one is Ariez).
Ariez is from mama's side and won't be around this Raya as he'll be celebrating it in The States with his mummy and daddy.
Al Arees (abah's side) will insyaAllah be celebrating his first raya with his mummy and daddy in Penang, and gets to celebrate it with Irfan too! (who's also celebrating his first Raya outside his mama's tummy)
Looking at his stack of clothes, I bet Irfan is going to raya sakan with mama and abah.
(Some were pressies from friends/relatives/grandmas..some were bought by mama!)

Irfan's new shoes and Iftar

Sunday.
We went to get Irfan his Raya shoes. Sadly, in the Gurney Plaza outlet, they didn't have the shoes that I had my eyes on, in his size.  So, we got him another pair instead. 
After shopping (Irfan poo poo at the mall and it was HORRRR - RI - BLE okie. The stool melekat everywhere..the stories will be posted in my blog http://baizurahidris.blogspot.com) we went back home, facebooking for a few hours, and headed off for Iftar at Mamu Ekan's place.

Sweeeeeettt....
As posted in my previous entry, Irfan first meal was carrot + rice puree. I gave him the puree for 3 consecutive days and continued with spinach + rice puree for the following 3 days. He loves his spinach sooo much he ate more than he was supposed to. Well, mama's mistake actually coz I was excited seeing him eating so well that I kept on giving him more and more. Then, on Saturday (slept over at maktok's house) Irfan dah merengek2, turned out dia angin rupanya.
Maktok rubbed his tummy with minyak telon and he seemed to be enjoying it so much. Putting up his feet on maktok's lap and hands over his head. Amboi2 anak mama nih..jadi little boss plak 
For his meal after, mama tried to stick to the quantity that I'm supposed to give him. When it's not enough and he cried after he finished it, I'd feed him milk.
After spinach, mama started Irfan on sweet potato puree. This time it's without the rice. Wallaaaahhhh....Irfan looooves the sweet potato so much, sampai hempas-hempas badan when mama took my own sweet time in feeding him.He ate it all up in record time (2-3 minutes only). Sayang mama is a biiiig boy d laaa...
