New Abode..
|
|
As most of you know, hubby and I live apart from each other eversince we got married. Now that there's going to be three of us, we have plans to no longer be apart from each other.
Plan tu memang banyak...ada plan A, plan B, plan C and so on. But for the time being, we'd stick to the one where I'll take unpaid leave for a long period of time. In the meantime, I'll try to get transfer or else hubby will hafta move with me lah. But not until he gets a job that offers much much better in every aspects lah.
So for the time being, we have plan to move into a new home after my confinement nanti. After browsing through many properties in Penang, we finally decided on this apartment in Sungai Ara. Nice environment and all...I love it.
Just can't wait to move in with my 2 favourite boys!

An Update : 15 Weeks Along...
|
|
You may not know it when it happens, but your tiny tenant frequently gets the hiccups, which babies master before breathing. Babies don't make any sound because their trachea is filled with fluid rather than air.
Although you've probably gained between 5 and 10 pounds / 2.2 - 4.5 kilograms, the fetus weighs in at around only 2.5 ounces / 70 grams. It measures nearly 4 inches / 11 centimetres long, crown to rump. Legs are growing longer than the arms now, fingernails are fully formed and all the joints and limbs can move. You may be able to find out the sex of your baby by ultrasound now, since the external genitals may be developed enough that the ultrasound technician can tell you if you're going to have a boy or a girl.
If the idea of having a baby seems so remote, nothing makes it feel more real than feeling your baby move for the first time. Most mums-to-be discern movement (called quickening) between 16 and 20 weeks. If you've been pregnant before, you'll feel things earlier rather than later. What you may first think is a rumbling stomach may be your baby doing some back flips. Make note of when you first start feeling the baby and tell your midwife at your next visit. This middle stage of pregnancy is a good time to start exercising.

Ok well, to those still in the blur, I'm in my 15 weeks of pregnancy now. Which makes it more or less 4 months of having that tiny lump inside my tummy growing into a discernible human being now .
I went for my monthly checkup last weekend (I was already almost 15 weeks then) and after the ultrasound scan, the gynae concluded that the given date should be accurate. The baby's growth corresponds with him/her age, he/she weighs 90 grams then, measuring around 7 cm from crown to butt. Of coz, she couldn't tell the real measurement as the baby was curled up while playfully waving his feet into the air (more like into the water huh?). During the scan, the tiny fellow was quite actively moving his feet and hands, and I was like "Oh gosh, ain't the fellow CUTE!" Mr. Hubby just happily.
The vomiting has stop, though it still comes once in a while but appetite still not good. I lost 5 kilos since the pregnancy, baby ni kuat makan betoi. Though hubby said the gynae was a bit concern, she said I should be gaining back some soon. (Jangan gain extra melampau suda)
I don't think I'd be posting the scan pics of the fellow, not now. Maybe later. So tata for now peeps!~

The Sonata of A Princess.
|
|
By C*hristopher L*ong for C*atherine T*hornhill
Once upon a time, not very long ago, there was a little princess and her name was Fay .
Fay lived with her sister and their mother and father in a wonderful place called TheTroubadour Café .
She was always very happy there because hundreds of people came to visit them at the wonderful Troubadour Café where they lived.
Often the little princess to put on her prettiest dress and would go round making sure all the visitors had fruits on their tables.
One day, as she was putting candles on all the tables, an old man came to visit them and his name was Mr. Blackie.
"Tell me, little princess," he asked, "how tall are you?"
And she said: "I don't know. But if you like you can measure me."
So she stood against the wall and the old man measured her. And they found that she wasn't VERY tall and she wasn't VERY small. In fact, she was JUST RIGHT.
But every time the old man came to visit, she would say: "Please will you measure me?"
And so he did.
And every time he measured her she had grown more and more.
She thought it was very strange.
She just got taller and taller.
Soon she was taller than her father and mother.
And then she was so tall that she couldn't walk through the door without bending.
And every time the old man came to visit she would get him to measure her again and the old man would look very puzzled and scratch his head and say: "Well, I don't understand this at all."
Very soon the little princess was SO TALL that she could hardly see the people on the ground.
And THEN she was so tall that the clouds were all around her waist and the birds were singing and flying round her head and people in aeroplanes waved to her out of their windows.
And the little princess thought: "Well, it is very nice being tall. Yesterday I took one step to the right and I was in my granny's garden. And the day before I took two steps to the left and I was in France. But sometimes I wish I wasn't QUITE so tall."
"I miss my friends at home ."
"And I miss putting all the fruits on the tables."
"And I miss my little sister, Fee ."
"And I miss father and I miss mother ."
"And I miss dancing in my room and playing with rabbit and kittie and I just miss everyone ."
"And I miss the old man who used to measure me."
So, she stopped a pigeon who was flying past and she said: "Please, pigeon, fly down and find the old man and ask him how I can get smaller again?"
And the pigeon flew down and found the old man and gave him the message.
The old man thought very hard and then wrote a message on a piece of paper and said: "Please, pigeon, would you take this up to my friend the little princess?"
The pigeon flew up and up and up until he found the little princess who was painting a rainbow in the sky and switching the sun on and off.
She was very excited when saw the message. She said: "Do you know what, pigeon. All I have do if I want to get smaller again is write a sonata !"
She thought for a few moments and then she wrote a little poem and gave it to the pigeon who took it to the old man in the Troubadour.
And guess what happened next?
Suddenly she was getting smaller and smaller and smaller. It was like going down in a lift. She waved goodbye to the birds and soon the clouds were above her head and in no time at all she found herself back at The Troubadour.
The little princess was very, very happy to be home. Everybody was pleased to see her again and they all wanted to know what she had seen and done when she was up in the sky.
And after that, every time she wanted the old man to measure her she would write a little poem – just a very little one – and she would give it to him first. And that way she was sure she would never get TOO tall and everything would be ALL RIGHT.

Pepsi Now Now
|
|
Hey now now, they'll find you when you're sleeping
they'll reach in and grab what you're dreamin'
cut it up and slip it back in, and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know it
Hey now now, the smallest things are crushing me now
the crush crush crush is so comforting now
did the earth just slam in the sun, and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know it
won't undo their past by walking and talking backwards
Hey now now, we're goin' down down
and we ride the bus there and pay the bus fare
or we find a new reason, a new way of living
and we breathe it in and try to dream again
Hey now now, they'll find you when you're sleeping, now now
they'll reach in and grab what you're dreamin', now now
cut it up and slip it back in and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know it
Hey now now, the smallest things are crushing me now
the crush crush crush is so comforting now
did the earth just slam in the sun, and I know, and I know, and I know, and I know it
