MAKAN-MAKAN!After the ceremony (Engagement Final Part)

PRAISE TO ALLAH, the Lord of The Universe...
April 1st 2006 was a memorable day for Amin and I. It was the day when we were officially engaged, the first vital step we made in our purpose to build a life together. On the day itself, all the close relatives gathered early at my aunty's house in Island Glades for a small doa selamat feast. It was then followed by the engagement ceremony in the evening.
Immediately upon their arrival after Asar, the men from both sides (mine and Amin) discussed a few matters regarding our nikah ceremony, which - insyaAllah- will be held next year. Not long after, I was called down for the sarung cincin and suap gula ceremony.
Alhamdulillah, everything went quite smoothly.Thanks to mak and abah for their hard works, and also thanks to everyone who'd helped out during the engagement. May Allah bless you people always!
